High Quality Exterior Painting Old Saybrook

When walking this house with customer it was apparent that there would be a lot of preparation necessary for a quality finish. We spent 4 days on preparation which involved scraping failed paint, removing rotted wood, installing new trim, recaulking failed caulk lines, sanding scraped paint areas, and priming all scraped areas with peel bond primer by Inslx. We also used two part epoxy and wood hardener on some of the rotted areas. We applied two coats Benjamin Moore Regal Low Lustre in “Mindful Gray” to body. We then applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Soft Gloss to all exterior trim. On front door and front porch ceilings we applied two different variations of a light blue to give the home a beachy feel. Also on this job the flat roof above exterior porch was soft and had some severe rotting. We were able to address where water was entering home and fix that issue. We were also able to connect home owner to a local roofer who came out within a couple days and repaired the roof. The house now looks like new and protected from water entering where it should not.
